MARMA

In Ayurveda 'Marmasthan ' or 'Marma" means a special point through which 'Prana' - the vital life force or energy - flows in the body. This is an ancient science of dealing with body energies. This science was taken to China during the religious and cultural changes taking place in India and the Chinese developed this science as acupuncture. But Ayurvedic marma therapists are fully aware of the energy chakras and all energy points which can be treated to unblock the channels of energies.

It has been identified that human body has 108 marma points and with gentle touch or lite massage on these points balances the flow of Prana and gives total relaxation.

FACIAL MARMA
The face is cleansed throughly with a herbal mixture and subsequently steam or ice is applied on the face. This is followed by a gentle massage of marma points on the face and scalp with suitable herbal oils. This is a deeply relaxing process.

Facial marma releases stress from the facial muscles. It is very good for fatigued eyes and gives good rest to the mind.
